Second Chance Community Health uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools thoughtfully and selectively to extend the reach of our small team and improve the quality and accessibility of our services. We believe transparency about AI is part of trustworthy care.

How we use AI

• Website & content support — drafting, editing, and translating educational material, application instructions, and routine communications
• Accesibilidad — generating alternative text for images, captions for video, and plain-language summaries
• Administrative automation — helping triage general inbox messages, summarizing internal notes, and scheduling logistics
• Analytics — identifying patterns in de-identified, aggregated data to improve programs

How we do not use AI

• We do not use AI to make clinical diagnoses, treatment decisions, or eligibility determinations on its own. A qualified human always reviews and decides.
• We do not feed identifiable Protected Health Information into public or consumer AI tools.
• We do not use AI to evaluate or score individuals for hiring, housing placement, or program participation without human review.
